About Adam

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Adam Henig is the author of Alex Haley’s Roots: An Author’s Odyssey  (2014) and Baseball Under Siege: The Yankees, the Cardinals, and a Doctor’s Battle to Integrate Spring Training (2016). Adam is currently working on, Watergate’s Forgotten Hero: Frank Wills, Night Watchman, which will be coming soon.

A book reviewer and blogger, Adam’s writings have appeared in TIME, Tampa Bay TimesSeattle Post Intelligencer blog, BlackPast,  History News NetworkSan Francisco Book ReviewTulsa Book Review,  Medium, The Biographer’s Craft and Blogcritics. He’s also been featured on the podcast,  New Books Network: African American Studies and was interviewed in the award-winning television documentary, “Baseball From the Beginning in Tampa Bay: Breaking Barriers” (2016).  Adam is an active member of the Biographers International Group (BIO).
